The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session 2022-2023 is going to be held till the 25th of March. On the 7th of March, Monday, after the first day of the budget session, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held a meeting and decided to conduct the Assembly Session till the 25th of March.
Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders created a commotion in the House during the A.P., Governor Mr. Biswabhushan Harichandan’s speech. They continued chanting slogans against the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the Governor, interrupting the session. The TDP leaders even tore the copies of the speech and walked out of the house.
Disappointed with the behavior of the opposition leaders, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his anger and said, “It was inappropriate to insult the governor.” He also said that this had never happened before in the case of the governor.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly session would conduct 12 days of sitting of the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and would remain closed on the 9th, the 12th, the 13th,18th,19th and 20th of March.
Highlighting the further details of the Andhra Pradesh Budget Session, the house would thank the Governor for his speech on the 10th of March, Mr. Buganna Rajender Reddy would address the house and present the 2022 Budget on the 11th of March and debate on the budget on the 14th and 15th of March.
Furthermore, the discussion over the budget demands would be held on the 16th, 17th, the 21st, the 22nd, the 23rd and the 24th of March.
The YSRCP Government would introduce the currency exchange bill in the House on the 25th of this month, the last day of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session.
