In Sri Sathya Sai district, eight people were injured in a road accident.
On the 18th of August, Thursday morning, a tragic accident occurred on the national highway at Chilamatur and Kondur region. Getting into the details, a private travel Volvo bus collided with a lorry, which was ahead of the speeding bus. The Volvo was going from Bangalore to Hyderabad, carrying 36 passengers. While many passengers were rescued with minor injuries, eight of them were severely injured. The victims were shifted to Hindupuram Government Hospital for treatment.
The passengers said that speeding was the cause of the accident and as per the statement, the police registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.
