On the 20th of September, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Ministe of Andhra Pradesh, directed officials to implement One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme.
During a meeting at the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in Tadepalli, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the housing department. The concerned officials briefed the Chief Minister on the One Time Settlement Scheme and informed the finalized name of the scheme as the Jagananna Permanent Housing Scheme. They also discussed the policies designed for the implementation of the scheme at the meeting. The officials explained the proposals to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
In addition, the officials said, a briefed day at regarding the same would be updated by the A.P., Housing Corporation Limited from the 25th of September. The same uploaded data would be then sent to various secretariats to conduct field observation. The officials said that the One Time Settlement Scheme has been made available for payment within the village and ward secretariats. The officials also said, “Once the lists of those eligible for one-time settlement are finalized in the village and ward secretariats, registrations will be done giving them full rights over the house and land with payment of prescribed fee.”
The YSRCP Government approved a one time settlement (OTS) scheme for eligible people, who applied for a housing loan scheme. Loans provided under the Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation Private Limited between 1983-2011, would be cleared with OTS.
According to the YSRCP Minister Mr. Perni Venkatramaiah, the OTS amount in rural areas is Rs. 10,000, whereas in municipalities it is Rs. 15,000 and in corporations Rs. 20,000.
Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Dharmana Krishnadas, Housing Minister Cherukuvada Sri Ranganatha Raju, Municipal and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, CS Adityanath Das, APS HCL Chairman Davuluri Dorababu, Land Administration Chief Commissioner Kumar, Chief Secretary V. Usharani, Finance Secretary K.V. Satyanarayana, AP TIDCO MD Sridhar, Housing Department Special Secretary Rahul Pandey, APSHCL MD N. Bharat Gupta and other senior officials were present during the meeting.
