On the 20th of September, Mr. Bajireddy Goverdhan, took over the charge as the Chairman of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC.) He assumed charge of the office at Bus Bhavan at the RTC X roads, Hyderabad.
Mr. Bajireddy Goverdhan is the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Rural Nizamabad. Ms. Kavitha Kuntala, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Nizamabad, expressed happiness over the appointment of Mr. Bajireddy. She said, “Under the guidance of the Chief Minister and leadership of Bajireddy Goverdhan, I am sure TSRTC will deliver quality services to people, besides driving on the development path.”
According to sources, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the State Minister Mr. V. Prashanth Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Ms. K. Kavitha, the TSRTC Managing Director Mr. V.C. Sajjanar were present during the event.
The event was a low key affair in the wake of the ongoing Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
It is to be noted, to control the debts and manage the TSRTC, the K. Chandrashekhar Rao led TRS Government appointed Mr. Bajireddy Goverdhan. While the appointment was made on the 16th of September, he took over as the Chairman of the TSRTC on the 20th of September.
