On the 18th of June, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, would release a job vacancy calendar.

The calendar would have scheduled to fill vacant posts in various government departments in Andhra Pradesh. The news regarding the release was confirmed by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO.) On the 17th of June, the CMO released a notification regarding the same.

The released calendar would be for job vacancies in 2021-2022. Through this calendar, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) would release a total of 10,143 vacant posts in various government departments.

Of the aforementioned vacancies, 1,238 job vacancies would be in departments of Scheduled Castes (SCs,) the Scheduled Tribes (STs) and others. The SC, ST and backlog departments job vacancies would be released in July. Similarly, in August 36 posts vacancies in the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Council (APPSC) Group 1 and 2 exams category would be released. Approximately 450 police jobs would be released in September, 451 posts in health ( doctors and assistant professors ) in October, 5,251 jobs in health (para medical, lab technicians and pharmacists) in November, 441 nurse jobs in December, 240 posts as lecturers in degree colleges in January 2022, 2,000 posts as assistant professors in universities in February 2022, and 36 posts in other departments in March 2022.

With this, the ruling Government led by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, aims to fulfil the promised employment in Andhra Pradesh. Many unemployed eligible people would get a chance to have a job.

It is to be noted, in the last two years, the YSRCP Government provided jobs to 6,03,755 people. Out of the 6,03,755 jobs, regular posts were 1,84,264, jobs on contract basis were 19,701 and jobs provided through outsourcing were 3,99,791.
