On the 10th of May, Andhra Pradesh reported 50 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus in the State.
This is the lowest daily tally in many weeks in districts like Kurnool, Krishna, Guntur and Nellore. According to a bulletin from the AP government, the latest 50 cases were detected from the districts of Anathapur (5), Chittoor (16), Guntur (6), Kadapa (1), Krishna (1), Kurnool (13), Nellore (5), Prakasam (5) and Visakhapatnam (1) districts.
The Andhra Pradesh Health Department conducted as many as 8,087 samples , out of which, only 50 samples tested positive, who are the first set of foreign returnees in the A.P.
With these updates, the total cases of the Novel Coronavirus reached 1,980. Out of the total, 887 are cured/discharged and 44 are deceased.
