The Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to distribute ambitious house site pattas for the underprivileged people in the State.
The distribution of house pattas programme would begin on the 25th of December.
The YSRCP Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bhumana Karunakar Reddy on the 10th of December, officially launched online lucky dip procedure for the selection of beneficiaries.
The program is about to begin everywhere except in areas where there is a court stay.
All the eligible candidates would get D-Form patta on the 25th of December and would be allotted houses.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government already identified 30,68,281 beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh and handed over pattas to them.
After distribution of house pattas, the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led State Government would begin the construction of houses.
According to sources, in the first phase, about 15 lakh houses would be constructed. In fact, the Government has made all the arrangements to issue the title deeds of the houses on the 8th of July 2021.
It was postponed several times as some people moved courts. The Government has also created colonies to issue house deeds.
The lands to be given by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government would not be like the housing complex of the weaker sections in the past instead it will be allocated spaces for wide roads, parks, schools, hospitals, and other social needs.
However, it is noted that the house site pattas would be handed over to all those who are eligible and homeless only.
