In Andhra Pradesh, Mr. M.T. Krishnababu, the Principal Secretary of the Health Department, issued an order and extended the deadline of the medical reimbursement scheme for government employees.
According to the orders issued on the 11th of October, Tuesday, the reimbursement scheme for pensioners from the 1st of August 2022 to the 31st of March 2023l, has been extended till 2023, March 31. The extension order has been issued in concurrence to the Andhra Pradesh Finance Department.
The decision to extend the deadline was taken after several appeals by the leaders of various trade unions regarding government employees and pensioners. As per issued orders, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government has decided to apply the Medical Reimbursement Scheme along with the Government Employees Health Scheme (EHS).
Moreover, with the given extension, Mr. M.T. Krishnababu advised Mr. A. Mallikarjuna Rao, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dr. YSR Arogyasree Health Care Trust to make available suitable procedures to facilitate the EHS scheme of employees and pensioners. In this regard, the CEO of Aarogyasri was entrusted in the order that necessary measures should be taken and appropriate arrangements should be made.
