The Andhra Pradesh State Housing Minister Mr. Jogi Ramesh announced that the State Government would soon distribute house site pattas to eligible underprivileged women in Visakhapatnam.
Addressing the media, Mr. Jogi Ramesh said, house site pattas would be distributed to 1.43 lakh women in Visakhapatnam on the 28th of April. He further added that Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh would hand over the land. The press meet was held after a review meeting, chaired by Mr. Jogi Ramesh at the A.P., Housing Corporation office in Vijayawada. During the review meeting, he directed the collectors and housing department officials to work hard for the timely completion of the first phase of housing under the Housing Scheme.
Assuring funds by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Mr. Jogi Ramesh said that there has been no funding problem for the constructions and suggested officials to motivate the beneficiaries and speed up the construction of the house. The Minister further added the construction of 24,000 houses was completed and another 1 lakh houses would be completed by the 15th of May. He also asked them that progress should be reviewed every day and immediate action should be taken to address them if problems are encountered.
The review meeting was attended by Mr. Ajay Jain, the Special General Secretary of the Housing Department, A.P., State Housing Corporation Managing Director Mr. Narayana Bharat Gupta, the Special Secretary of the Housing Department Mr. Rahul Pandey and other officials.
