Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will launch development works worth Rs 11,085 crore under Palle Panduga 3.0 at Udayagiri in Nellore district on September 29.
The programme will focus on improving rural roads and basic facilities. Around 6,000 km of CC roads will be laid at a cost of Rs 2,700 crore. Another 9,500 km of BT roads will be taken up with Rs 7,550 crore.
The plan also includes 22,000 mini Gokulams, or cattle sheds, at a cost of Rs 300 crore. Horticulture plantations will cover 50,000 acres, while 1,000 km of magic drains will be built. Bus shelters, gram panchayat buildings and other village works are also part of the programme.
Of the total amount, the Central share is Rs 5,391 crore, while the State share is Rs 5,694 crore. Additional funds will come through schemes and institutions including VB-G RAM G, NABARD and SASKI.
The programme is aimed at strengthening rural infrastructure and supporting farmers, dairy producers and village communities.
