The Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh reported 220 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) on the 1st of November.
In the evening of Monday, the 1st of November, the Andhra Pradesh Government released a media bulletin to update about the Wuhan virus situation in the State.
According to the released media bulletin, the State reported 220 new cases, 4 deaths and 429 recoveries in the past 24 hours. The number of cases were confirmed after conducting 25,532 sample tests for the Novel Coronavirus infection, taking the cumulative total to 2,95,44,319.
Of the total 220 new cases, the highest number of new cases from East Godavari which reported 51 cases, followed by Chittoor (33,) Guntur (26,) Krishna (21,) Srikakulam (19,) Nellore (19,) Visakhapatnam (18,) Kadapa (16,) West Godavari (4.)
Viziangaram and Kurnool reported 0 cases of the Wuhan virus in the past 24 hours.

Chittoor – 763
Krishna – 778
Nellore – 401
Prakasam – 350
West Godavari – 266
Guntur – 192
Srikakulam -195
Visakhapatnam – 115
Kadapa – 78
Vizianagaram – 60
Anantapur – 46
Kurnool – 24
With the aforementioned data, Andhra Pradesh has 20,66,670 positive cases, of which 20,48,151 are recoveries, 14,377 are deceased cases and 4,142 are active cases.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government is working to combat the single day cases of Wuhan virus and keep the pandemic situation under control. The State Government urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to ensure everyone follows COVID-19 appropriate behavior, especially when the whole State is in a festive mood.
The vaccination drive is also going at a speed in the State to administer vaccine doses to the majority of people.
