Mr. J.P. Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) on the 7th of June, met with the BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. J.P. Nadda, who is on a two-day visit to the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh, said, to first focus on building the organization from the ground level in the State rather than worrying about political alliances. During a BJP meeting held on the 7th of June, Tuesday, Mr. J.P. Nadda directed the BJP leader to build and strengthen the BJP at all levels in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. J.P. Nadda said, “Remember, we have BJP governments in 18 states, apart from the Centre. Don’t we know what to do in AP? We have a strategy for Andhra Pradesh and will do whatever is required.”
Notably, in Andhra Pradesh, the BJP is in alliance with the Pawan Kalyan-led JanaSena Party, against the two strong Telugu parties, the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party and the opposition the Telugu Desam Party.
During the meeting, Mr. J.P. Nadda raised alliance concerns of the BJP party in Andhra Pradesh and said, “You don’t worry about the alliances, leave it to us. Let the election of the President and the Vice-President be over first. There is still time for electoral tie-ups and we will take a call on that.
Mr. J.P. Nadda is scheduled to leave for Delhi from Andhra Pradesh on the 7th of June.
