
Davos: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu made significant strides in attracting global collaborations during the World Economic Forum summit in Davos. The Chief Minister held discussions with key global leaders, focusing on health innovation, technology, and sustainable development.
Mr. Naidu met Microsoft founder and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) chairperson, Bill Gates, to explore opportunities to transform Andhra Pradesh into a health, education, and innovation hub. He proposed the establishment of a Center of Excellence for Health Innovation and Diagnostics to deliver cutting-edge healthcare solutions in the state. The Chief Minister also invited Mr. Gates to join Andhra Pradesh’s proposed Artificial Intelligence University advisory board, positioning the state as a leader in AI research and education.
Mr. Naidu emphasized adapting global innovations, such as BMGF’s health dashboards, to address local challenges effectively. He also offered Andhra Pradesh as a gateway for the foundation’s initiatives in South India.
