Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is currently in New Delhi for a crucial visit, packed with important meetings and events. After arriving on Tuesday night, Naidu attended the centenary celebrations of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Rashtriya Smriti Sthal. Along with other NDA leaders, he paid floral tributes at Vajpayee’s memorial, “Sadaiv Atal,” and participated in a prayer ceremony to honor his legacy.
Naidu’s schedule includes high-level meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. These discussions, especially ahead of the Union Budget 2025, are pivotal as Naidu seeks to present Andhra Pradesh’s demands, focusing on pending allocations from the previous budget and key state projects.
Additionally, Naidu will meet Union Steel Minister Kumaraswamy to discuss the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant issue and may also sit down with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to address fiscal matters for the state. A crucial meeting is set for 12:30 PM at BJP President J.P. Nadda’s residence, where Naidu will join other NDA Chief Ministers and leaders to discuss political developments, electoral strategies, and upcoming elections.
