Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, renowned for embracing advanced technology, conducted an innovative press meet on Saturday using artificial intelligence (AI). In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the press meet replaced traditional videographers and cameramen with an AI-driven system.
A sophisticated multi-camera AI system featuring four cameras was installed at the Chief Minister’s residence in Undavalli. The setup provides live coverage with minimal human intervention. As Chandrababu entered the meeting hall, the AI system automatically focused on him, ensuring he remained at the center of the frame. The system adjusted angles and output seamlessly, performing tasks typically handled by eight individuals.
This cutting-edge technology eliminates the need for personnel to move around during events, reducing confusion and ensuring smooth operations. The AI-powered setup functions in “no-man” mode, offering a fully automated experience.
During the press meet, CM Chandrababu detailed his visit to Davos, showcasing this AI innovation. Minister Lokesh spearheaded the installation of the system, ensuring it was funded privately rather than through government resources.
This technological advancement highlights Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to innovation and sets a precedent for adopting AI in governance.
