Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized the crucial role of District Collectors in transforming Andhra Pradesh, urging them to leave a lasting impact through effective governance. Speaking at the Collectors’ Conference held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he stressed that just as a Chief Minister shapes a state’s trajectory, the work of collectors defines their legacy.
“The state’s progress depends on your efficiency. Authority should not be confined to offices—your actions must be visible in public service. The ego of knowing everything halts learning,” Naidu remarked.
He outlined welfare, development, and improvement as the three guiding pillars of the coalition government, stating that overcoming the ₹9.74 lakh crore debt burden while fulfilling public aspirations was a priority. The government is actively collecting feedback on 22 service sectors to ensure accountability.
People-Centric Development & Future Plans
Naidu highlighted that public participation is key to economic growth. He cited Amaravati, where 29,000 farmers contributed 35,000 acres for development, and announced similar land pooling initiatives for the Anakapalli Steel Plant and Ramayapatnam Port townships.
He also unveiled plans to establish a Quantum Valley to train 2 lakh AI experts, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a hub for advanced technology.
