Kadapa: Dastagiri, the approver in the former minister Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, has made serious allegations against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Bharti, and Avinash Reddy. In a complaint filed with Kadapa District SP Harshavardhan on Tuesday, Dastagiri claimed that he was harassed for five years by these individuals.
Dastagiri accused Bhaskar Reddy and Sivashankar Reddy of causing him significant trouble, alleging that during the YSRCP regime, the police operated as “bonded slaves” to the ruling party. He further claimed that officers in the jail tortured him, and that Prakash, the superintendent of Kadapa jail, acted as a puppet for YSRCP leaders.
According to Dastagiri, Chaitanya Reddy, the son of Devi Reddy Sivashankar Reddy, attempted to bribe him with money to compromise in the Viveka murder case. Dastagiri said, “They tortured me in jail because I was in jail.” He urged the SP and the CBI to thoroughly investigate these incidents.
