Vijayawada: Preparations are in full swing for the smooth conduct of the “Policet-2024” entrance exam, assured Suresh Kumar, Secretary of the Skill Development Department. With the exam set to take place on April 27th across 442 centers, students are advised to arrive early considering potential traffic congestion.

In a recent high-level review chaired by Technical Education Commissioner Chadalavada Naga Rani, Secretary Suresh Kumar emphasized the importance of ensuring students’ convenience during the exam. Medical camps and emergency medicines will be readily available at all exam centers, particularly in light of seasonal challenges like hailstorms. Coordination between authorities and uninterrupted power supply are also prioritized.

Commissioner Naga Rani disclosed that a total of 1,59,783 applicants, including 64,538 girls and 95,245 boys, are set to take the exam. To facilitate a smooth process, 65 coordination centers have been established statewide.

In response to some students facing online fee payment issues, arrangements have been made to accept fee payments directly at the examination centers, provided applicants bring a valid application form.

Officials, staff, and students are urged to plan their journeys early, anticipating traffic disruptions due to concurrent general election activities. The review meeting involved key officials from the Technical Education Department, ensuring comprehensive planning and execution for a seamless exam administration.
