Amaravathi: Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) with roots in Andhra Pradesh have rallied behind the TDP national president, former Chief Minister Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, pledging their support and confidence in his leadership. With over 25 lakh NRIs spanning across 120 countries and represented by 76 regional operating bodies, they attribute their current prosperity to Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision and progressive policies since the 90s.

In a show of gratitude, these NRIs have committed to actively participate, both directly and indirectly, in the ongoing election to bolster Mr. Chandrababu’s campaign. Concerned about the state’s reputation among expatriates under the current government, they aim to influence public opinion and rally support for the TDP.

Dr. Ravikumar Vemuru, a retired physician from the US, highlighted plans to establish NRI cells in each Assembly segment to maximize outreach. With over 4000 entrepreneurs within the TDP NRI wing, they envision leveraging their collective potential to create job opportunities, provided the state government aligns with their objectives.

Mr. Raavi Radhakrishna, an entrepreneur from Saudi Arabia, stressed the importance of reinstating the TDP government to ensure youth welfare. He cited past successes, including the facilitation of international employment for 200 individuals in the US, predominantly from hotel management and teaching backgrounds.
