Amaravati: Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena highlighted the significance of the “SAMARTH” (Security Arrangement Mapping Analysis Response Tracking Hub) mobile app for ensuring prompt law enforcement during the upcoming general elections on May 13. Meena urged SPs, CPs, and sector officers across all districts to utilize the app, emphasizing its efficiency in addressing law and order issues.

The SAMARTH app offers crucial features including real-time tracking of police forces via Google Maps, identification of critical and regular polling stations, and instant dispatch of mobile parties to troubled areas. Meena commended SP Vakul Jindal of Bapatla for pioneering the app’s development and its experimental use in the district, yielding promising results.

During a meeting with Meena at the State Secretariat, SP Vakul Jindal elaborated on the app’s functionality, highlighting its ability to facilitate direct communication with police personnel and issuance of orders to 2000 officers simultaneously. The app’s offline capability ensures seamless operation even without internet connectivity, enabling efficient monitoring of election-related petitions and swift response to emerging challenges.
