Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Governor Justice S Abdul Nazeer at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday and sought a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the DSC teacher recruitment process.
Jagan submitted a formal representation to the Governor. He also raised the alleged attack on YSRCP leaders and unemployed youth during a protest near the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) office in Vijayawada.
Jagan alleged that the recruitment process involved several irregularities, including paper leaks, changes in recruitment procedures, fake sports quota certificates and problems in conducting the exams. He also alleged that question paper preparation and the examination were handled by the same official heading the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).
He further alleged that government orders were issued to appoint 372 candidates without requiring them to take the mandatory TET or DSC exams. Jagan has also sought the resignation of HRD Minister Nara Lokesh.
