Srikakulam: In a significant political development, several prominent leaders from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Janasena Party announced their decision to join the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. The event took place at the Akkivalasa Stay Point in Etcherla Constituency, Srikakulam District, marking a notable shift in the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh.
Among the notable figures who officially joined the YSRCP were former BJP Minister Jagan Mohan Rao Peddinti and his son Ramaswami Naidu Peddinti, former TDP leader Koyyana Srivani, former Congress MLA Korla Bharti and her daughter Korla Sirisha, former ZPTC Lolugu Lakshmana Rao, as well as several others including Ranastalam MPTC Majji Gauri and TDP Vice President Majji Ramesh, former MPP Gorli Vijayakumar, and senior leader Rama Rao from Ranastalam mandal of Etcherla constituency.
Their decision to align with the YSRCP underscores the growing influence and appeal of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership and the party’s vision for the state’s progress and development.
