Railway Koduru: Chandrababu Naidu, the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and former Chief Minister, launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, branding him as a traitor to Rayalaseema. Speaking at a well-attended Praja Galam public meeting in Railway Kodur, Annamayya district, Naidu accused Jagan of being the leader of thugs.
Naidu blamed Jagan for the deaths caused by the washing away of gates at the Annamayya project. He criticized Jagan’s governance, alleging a surge in prices and heavy taxation burdening the people over the past five years. Naidu accused Jagan of abandoning crucial projects like Handri-Neeva and Galeru-Nagari, deceiving the people of the region.
Naidu questioned Jagan’s sincerity, accusing him of staging sympathy dramas ahead of elections. He demanded answers from Jagan regarding the allegations raised by his own sisters, Dr. Sunitha and Mrs. Sharmila, regarding the murder of their paternal uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy.
Promising to revive horticulture subsidies and establish food processing units statewide, Naidu pledged to address the concerns of the common people regarding district reorganization. He expressed confidence in the TDP’s electoral prospects, citing the large turnout at the Praja Galam as evidence of Jagan’s impending defeat.
Naidu vowed to crack down on red sanders smugglers and curb sand mafia activities if returned to power. He pledged to complete all pending projects in the region, highlighting his commitment to the welfare and development of Andhra Pradesh.
