Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, demonstrated his commitment to supporting talent, regardless of financial background, by extending financial aid to two deserving students selected for the prestigious Youth Exchange Programme in the United States.
The beneficiaries, Bandila Suryateja Sri from Jangareddygudem and Natta Pradeepthi from Rajahmundry, are pursuing their Intermediate education at Dr. BR Ambedkar Gurukula IIT Medical Academy in Edupugallu. They were among 30 students selected nationwide for the year-long program focusing on the culture and traditions of developed nations.
Recognizing their financial struggles, Lokesh, during the Praja Darbar, responded to an appeal made by Suryateja Sri’s mother and invited the girls to the State Secretariat. There, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu presented them with financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each and a laptop.
The Chief Minister encouraged the students to showcase Indian culture and traditions globally and assured continued support for talented individuals in the state.
Expressing her gratitude, Suryateja Sri shared her aspiration to become an IAS officer, inspired by visionary leaders like Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh.
