Las Vegas: Andhra Pradesh is advancing swiftly with investor-friendly policies under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, said IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, who is actively inviting international support to boost the state’s technology and manufacturing sectors. In a strategic move to promote Andhra Pradesh on a global stage, Lokesh met with former Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi at the IT Survey Synergy Summit in Las Vegas, urging her to aid in the state’s drive for sustainable economic growth.
Lokesh emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to renewable energy, green initiatives, and women’s empowerment, asking Nooyi to showcase these initiatives to the global business community. He also highlighted the government’s focus on wellness programs to promote a healthy lifestyle and encouraged the establishment of mentoring programs to enhance youth skills in education and technology.
The Minister appealed to Nooyi to guide Andhra Pradesh’s efforts in building a strong industrial base with a focus on green policies, women’s leadership, and youth empowerment. In response, Indra Nooyi promised her cooperation in attracting investments and supporting Andhra Pradesh’s development ambitions.
