Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu encouraged Andhra Pradesh’s legislators to actively participate in Assembly debates and contribute thoughtfully to public governance. Addressing a workshop organized for newly elected MLAs by Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, Naidu emphasized the importance of thorough preparation on legislative bills, state policies, and budget details.

Naidu, who entered the Assembly in 1978 and has since served multiple terms as Chief Minister, shared his experience and underscored that sustained electoral success is driven by strong performance and party structure. With new members from the TDP, Jana Sena, BJP, and YSRCP joining the Assembly, Naidu urged them to earn public trust by sincerely representing their constituencies’ concerns.

Reflecting on the rapid evolution of Assembly coverage, Naidu noted that today’s live broadcasts and social media outreach bring legislative proceedings directly to the public. “The Assembly should be a platform for meaningful debates,” he said, urging MLAs to study key topics and to understand the financial allocations from the central budget.

Highlighting Vision-2047, Naidu called for contributions from all members, stressing that a well-informed Assembly can lead to impactful policies. He concluded by emphasizing responsible behavior and setting a strong example for future generations, especially in the absence of an active opposition.
