Another clash broke out between Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
Nara Chandrababu Naidu criticized CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, for not wanting the Grama Panchayat elections in Andhra Pradesh.
The Telugu Desam Party lashed out at the YSRCP party cadres provoking tensions and making threats with false cases.
Mr. Naidu held a teleconference with the TDP leaders on the 3rd of February.
Mr. Naidu said,”While (the) TDP is looking to uphold democracy, (the) YSRCP is trying to destroy it.”
Nara Chandrababu also said, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is deceiving the people of Andhra Pradesh without doing any development activities. He even accused, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to bring funds to Andhra Pradesh from the Central Government.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu even wrote a letter to the Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy saying, peace and security in the State had deteriorated in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of the YSRCP Government
Mr. Naidu also highlighted the attacks on the opposition, the TDP members. He said there were attacks and atrocities on other parties in the state, including TDP with murders, assassination attempts, and suspicious deaths have all gone unnoticed.
The ongoing clashes and tug of war is in the wake of the upcoming Grama Panchayat Elections.
The Andhra Pradesh Grama Panchayat elections are scheduled to be held in four phases, starting from the 9th of February till the 21st of February.
