The badminton champion came back to the Telugu State after bagging two Bronze medals at the 2020 Olympics and received a warm welcome from the State Government.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) ministers Avanti Srinivas, Sharmana Krishnadas, Vijayawada Collector J. Nivas welcomed P.V. Sindhu and greeted her with a grand welcome.
P.V. Sindhu visited the famous Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada with her parents and offered prayers today morning, the 6th of August. Arriving at the temple with his parents, Sindhu was welcomed by the priests and temple officials with Poornakumbh.
Later, the family performed special puja with vedic scholars and performed Veda Ashirvachanam. Meanwhile, the temple authority honoured P.V. Sindhu with shawl and flowers. Speaking at the occasion, Sindhu said that she came to see her mother before going to the tournament.
Before visiting A.P., P.V. Sindhu landed at Hyderabad from Tokyo, Japan and received a warm welcome at the Hyderabad Airport.
