Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) on the 19th of September, will meet Biswabhusan Harichandan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Accompanied by a few senior leaders of the TDP, Chandrababu Naidu will explain Governor Harichandan about the death of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao.
Kodela Siva Prasad Rao, the former Assembly Speaker of AP, committed suicide on the 15th of September. The reason behind his massive step is said to be the criminal and corruption cases filed against him and his family members by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
Naidu said the harassment of the YSRCP Government, under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, forced Kodela to take the extreme step of hanging himself to death.
Naidu already submitted a memorandum to Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, regarding the incident and demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry regarding Kodela’s death.
Naidu and the TDP leaders also vowed to expose the law and justice system of the AP Government at a national level.
Kodela Siva Prasad Rao’s death raised a hue and cry amongst the political parties in both the Telugu States, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
