Mr. Jagdish Reddy, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister praised the safai workers, (cleaning staff) at an event in Suryapet.
On the 16th of June, Friday, Mr. G. Jagdish Reddy, the Power House Minister of Telangana, attended the innovative urban progress celebrations at the newly opened Mahaprasthan in Suryapet town. He was invited at the event, which is organized as the part of Telangana Formation Day Celebration and spoke about the crucial roles of cleaners.
Mr. Jagdish Reddy said, “Your role in the development of the town is crucial. Suryapet Municipal Corporation has received awards from the state level to the national level due to the services you are providing.”
State Power Minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy praised the Safai workers working in the Municipal Corporations.
Rajya Sabha Members Badugula Lingaya Yadav, Municipal Chairman Perumandla Annapoornamma, District Library Corporation Chairman Nimmala Srinivas Goud, Vice Chairman Putt Kishore, District Collector Venkatra Wu, Municipal Commissioner Ramanjul Reddy and others participated.
Prior to his speech at the event, Mr. Jagdish Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed Mahaprasthan. In the subsequent meeting, Minister Jagdish Reddy said that the fact that the main participation in urban development today is that of the cleaning workers should not be ignored. He reminded that in recognition of their hard work, an employee working in the Suryapet Municipal Corporation received an award at the national level for providing the best services during Corona.
In addition, speaking about the Mahaprasthan built, Mr. Jagdish Reddy said, the Mahaprasthan will stand as an icon for the future generations. He said that the pain that occurs when deaths occur in rented houses is indescribable. So that such people do not face any problems in this Mahaprasthan, two families can do aparakarmas separately at the same time with all the facilities.
The event was attended by BRS cadres and ministers and leaders in Suryapet.
