Temple Idols Of AP To Be Given To State Soon, Says G. Kishan Reddy

Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Tourism Minister, on the 11th of November, assured to return the idol of Andhra Pradesh.  A statue belonging to the Telugu States would soon be handed over to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 

On Thursday, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy said that South Ayodhya Bhadrachalam is being included in the Ramayana circuit in Andhra Pradesh. He addressed the media on Thursday and said, the necessary funds would be sanctioned for the infrastructure of the devotees at Bhadrachalam.  He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had spoken to the Railway Department on the Bhadrachalam issue and would resolve the issue with the establishment of the Ayodhya Bhadrachalam temple.

Kishan Reddy further clarified that the central government has no objection to the inclusion of Anjanadri in Andhra Pradesh in the Ramayana circuit and opined that they would look into the proposal if it came before them.

In regard to the development of the Alampur Jogulamba temple, the Central Government has sanctioned Rs. 35 crores.   In addition, the statue/idol of Alampur Jogulamba was removed from India and was sent to Canada hundreds of years ago.  The idol now has finally been handed over to the Uttar Pradesh Government, which now would return back to the Andhra Pradesh Government.
