On the 11th of November, Thursday, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, conducted a review meeting with ministers and government officials.

The review meeting was organised to discuss the Jagananna Sampoorn Gruha Hakku scheme. The scheme launched by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is a one time settlement scheme for house registration. The meeting was held at the YSRCP Camp office in Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh.

During the review meeting, the Andhra Pradesh CM asked the officials to review the scheme time to time so that there would not be any delay in processing and permissions.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also asked the concerned officials to register the beneficiary’s houses with a clear title under the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme. The registration work would be done under the supervision of district and village level government officials at the village and wards secretariats. The meeting between bankers and beneficiaries would also be conducted in a transparent manner, ensuring the registration of the houses after one time settlement under the scheme.

In addition, there should be field inspections and awareness programmes regarding the implementation of the scheme in a transparent manner.

All the processes of the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme should be completed within the stipulated time. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy approved the scheme and asked the registration for the beneficiaries under the scheme from the 20th of November to the 15th of December. According to sources and government data, a total of 52 lakh people registered themselves under the scheme, which now would be scrutinised by the government officials. As of now, data of 45.63 lakh beneficiaries have already been tagged to the secretariats and field-level observations on these were also being completed.

The final registration and one time settlement is expected to be done by December 2021.
