Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is set to host the grand 521st Vardhanti (death anniversary) celebrations of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya from April 4 to April 8. The commemorative events will take place at the Dhyan Mandir, the 108-foot Annamaiah statue in Tallapaka, located in Kadapa district, as well as at the Annamacharya Kala Mandir in Tirupati.
The festivities will kick off at Padala Mandapam in Alipiri, Tirupati, at 6:00 am on April 4, followed by a soul-stirring Saptagiri Sankeertan Gosti Ganam at Narayanagiri Gardens later that evening.
From April 5 to April 8, TTD has planned a series of religious and Bhakti Sangeet programs at the Annamacharya Kala Mandir in Tirupati. Additionally, special rituals will be held at the Dhyan Mandir and the 108-foot Annamacharya statue in Tallapaka throughout the four-day celebration.
This annual event honors the legacy and contributions of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, a revered saint and composer whose devotional songs continue to inspire countless devotees worldwide.
