
Delhi: Union Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Pemmasani Chandrasekhar announced the approval of a third railway flyover to ease traffic congestion in Guntur. Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, the minister revealed that the South Central Railway has sanctioned Rs. 41 crore for the project.
The new flyover, located between Guntur and Nallapadu, will improve connectivity to areas like Pedapalakalur, Pulladiguntla, and Parature. This addition complements the existing Shankar Vilas and Inner Ring Road bridges. The tendering process for the flyover is expected to begin in three weeks, with construction set to be completed within three years. Chandrasekhar assured that the central government would fund all three bridges entirely.

Minister Chandrasekhar criticized misinformation spread by Jagan supporters about Lokesh’s visit to Davos. He emphasized that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh met with top CEOs, creating a favorable investment climate for Andhra Pradesh.
The visit secured significant projects, including investments in TCS, Sricity’s 11 projects, HCL’s second phase, Reliance, and ArcelorMittal. Chandrasekhar stated these initiatives represent thousands of crores in investments, positioning the state as a key industrial hub.
