On the 15th of November, Vallabhaneni Vamsi, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Gannavaram constituency, filed a complaint against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
Vamsi met Dwarka Thirumala Rao, the Commissioner of Police of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (AP,) and reported about negative posts and criticism from the TDP across the social media platforms. He said the TDP is trying to tarnish his image and misleading the citizens of AP by posting negative comments and posts about him.
The complained came after the TDP suspended Vallabhaneni Vamsi from the Party. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP announced his suspension after he criticised the TDP and its President during a press meet.
On the 14th of November, Vallabhaneni Vamsi addressed a press meet and criticised the Naidu led TDP.
On the 15th of November, Vamsi addressed the media and asked, if it is appropriate to suspend someone even when he/she resigned? He said, the actions of Chandrababu Naidu is nothing but tricks to get attention.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi also demanded action against Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the TDP and other leaders who are using social media and posting inappropriate posts against him.
The issue between the TDP President and Vallabhaneni Vamsi became a topic of debate in Andhra Pradesh.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi, one of the strong leader of TDP also announced to join the opposition, Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made.
