Vijayawada: The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple in Indrakeeladri, Vijayawada, witnesses a large influx of devotees daily, with numbers peaking on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and other special days. Due to the high volume of visitors and the sacred Maha Nivedana ritual performed at the temple, all queue lines are paused from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. During this time, devotees must wait approximately an hour before resuming their darshan, which typically concludes around 2:00 PM.
Given the inconvenience faced by devotees, particularly during VVIP and VIP visits, temple authorities have decided to suspend VVIP and VIP darshan on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and other special days between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. This measure aims to ease the flow of regular devotees and reduce waiting times during peak hours.
