Hyderabad: Former Telangana chief minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR) asked party leaders and MLAs to give some time to the newly formed Congress party led state government to settle. He asked party leaders not to target any decision taken by the ruling party until some time.
KCR addressing party MLAs at his farmhouse said that Telangana people gave chance to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for two terms and decided to see Congress ruling once. He said that the Congress government should be given six months to fulfill its election promises.
KCR said that he withdrew from the CM post respecting the mandate given by the people. He assured that BRS will play a crucial role as an opposition party in the state. He added that the leader of opposition and BRS legislative party leader will be declared very soon after consulting the key leaders.
