Vijayawada: AP Congress president YS Sharmila Reddy criticized the state government for ignoring Mega DSC notification. Sharmila said that former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy filled 52 thousand teacher posts with Mega DSC and his son YS Jagan released ‘Dhaga DSC’ (fraud-DSC) with just 6100 posts.
She questioned the social media teams of YSRCP who are posting obscene posts against her to get an explanation for YS Jagan over injustice happening to the teacher job aspirants.
Sharmila said that YSRCP during the 2019 elections promised 25 thousand teacher jobs and Mega DSC. But ignored the notification for the first four years. She alleged that sudden DSC notification is an election stunt and unemployed youth in the state are not in a position to trust the YSRCP government.
Meanwhile, tension prevailed at Tadepalli with a protest taken up by Akhil Bharat Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) demanding DSC notification with at least 30,000 posts. Student and youth associations termed the DSC notification as an eye wash measure to betray the youth once again. Police arrested the agitators to bring the law and order under control.
