YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Reviews COVID-19 Surveys And Precautions In AP

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 10th of April, conducted  a meeting and reviewed the precautionary measures conducted in the State.

Mr. Reddy directed the concerned officials to ensure the conduct of symptomatic survey in the State for the 3rd time as per the suggestions of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR.) to know the situation and increasing numbers of the COVID-19.

During the high level review meeting, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the officials to include two more categories and a few questions during the door to door survey for the COVID-19.

According to the report submitted by the concerned officials, the survey revealed 6,289 people were suffering from cold, cough and fever in the State.

Based on the survey, the State Government also conducted tests on a few suspects, having COVID-19 symptoms.

In the past 24 hour, the State tested 217 samples and all of them were obtained COVID-19 negative.

Anantapur (15,) Chittoor (20,) East Godavari (12,) Guntur (51,) Kadapa (29,) Krishna (35,) Kurnool (75,) Nellore (48,) Prakasam (38,) Visakhapatnam (20,) West Godavari (22,) Srikakulam (0) and Vizianagaram (0.)

Total cases reported in Andhra Pradesh are 365 COVID-19 infection cases and 5 deaths till date.
