Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, conducted a review meeting on the progress of road construction and repair work in Andhra Pradesh.
On the 21st of June, Tuesday, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government met with the officials of the Road and Building Administration Department and directed the officials to take immediate steps to complete the unfinished roads, bridges, ROBs, and flyovers in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested not to leave pending construction works on roads and flyovers.
During the meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized the need of opening the roads and flyovers to the public quickly. He said, “In addition to completing unfinished roads, roads should be constructed without potholes; The construction of new bridges in areas washed away by a typhoon should also be a priority.”
Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked all the officials to also complete the reconstruction of damages done due to the cyclone, by the 15th of July. Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also asked officials to take regular maintenance and repairs.
