The Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to launch another welfare scheme for the citizens of the State.
On the 18th of June, the Yuvajana Sramika Rhythu Congress Party (YSRCP) announced to soon launch YSR Nethanna Nestham scheme.
Despite the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus Andhra Pradesh is not backing down on the implementation of welfare schemes.
The YSR Nethanna Nestham Scheme would aim to provide financial assistance to weavers in the State.
The State Government collected a list of eligible beneficiaries for the scheme through village and ward volunteers. Funds for the scheme have also been released.
The scheme would not only help the eligible people but poor people who are without white ration cards in the State.
Considering the current pandemic crisis of power looms, the State Government decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 24,000 to people listed under the scheme yearly.
The scheme was to be launched on the 17th of June but due to the Assembly session, it was postponed to the 20th of June.
CM Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the concerned official to disburse the amount into beneficiaries’ bank accounts directly. The scheme would benefit a total of 85,000 weavers in Andhra Pradesh.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would launch the welfare scheme officially on the 20th of June.
