YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday, September 23, over alleged attacks on YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) workers during protests against alleged irregularities in the DSC recruitment process.
Jagan is expected to submit a complaint and seek a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities. The issue follows protests by YSRCP workers demanding action over the recruitment process.
During a meeting with party leaders on Tuesday, Jagan alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh were behind attempts to disrupt the protests.
He also alleged that violent groups attacked party workers and claimed that some attackers snatched lathis from police personnel. These claims were made by Jagan and the YSRCP.
Jagan said he would present the party’s concerns before the Governor and seek a CBI probe into the DSC recruitment issue.
