Y.S. Sharmila, the sister of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is gearing up to launch her political party in Telangana.
The efforts of Ms. Sharmila to stand against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is intensifying with every passing day.
After a recent meeting with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) supporters in Telangana, Ms. Sharmila is scheduled to meet political analysts and consultants.
Y.S. Sharmila, on the 11th of February, would meet retired professors and officials from Telangana to frame the party policies and ideologies.
Acting upon the suggestions of a few leaders, Ms. Sharmila is conducting all her works from office at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad.
However, soon, Y.S. Sharmila is going to switch to Gachibowli, Hyderabad where her new office would be.
Meanwhile, many leaders from Andhra Pradesh are looking forward to this new party launch.
A few YSRCP leaders recently opened up on Y.S. Sharmila’s political entry with a new outfit in Telangana.
One of the five deputy chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh said Telangana needs a strong leadership. Krishna Das, a Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh said, “Our leader Jagan is neither supportive nor against Sharmila’s political ambitions. But it’s necessary that (the) YSRCP followers should be on the side of Sharmila.”
However, so far Y.S. Jagah Mohan Reddy chose to be quiet and gave no response to the new party launch of his sister Y.S. Sharmila.
It could be said, without the support of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the success of the yet to be launched party would be solely based on the pre launch work and strategy of Ms. Sharmila.
The planning, strategising, policies and commitments towards the citizens of Telangana would be a major factor and would decide the future of the yet to be launched party in Telangana.
Meanwhile, the details of the party launch are yet to be made official.
However, with the sped up work towards a new party launch in Telangana, Ms. Sharmila is expected to contest the 2023 Assembly elections.
