Vijayawada: AP PCC President YS Sharmila has responded to the resignation of YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy, suggesting that it reflects the growing loss of credibility of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking to the media at the party office in Vijayawada on Saturday, Sharmila stated that Vijayasai Reddy’s departure is a direct consequence of Jagan’s leadership failure.
“Vijayasai Reddy has always been one of Jagan’s closest allies, carrying out his orders and defending him, even in personal matters,” Sharmila said. “But the resignation of such a close confidante indicates deeper issues within the party.”
Sharmila also criticized Jagan for deceiving both the public and his trusted associates. She questioned why many of Jagan’s loyal supporters and close friends, like Vijayasai, are leaving the party. “Jagan has lost credibility as a leader. He has deceived those who placed their trust in him,” she added.
Sharmila went on to claim that Jagan’s political actions have harmed the people who supported him, alleging that he is now aligned with the BJP, and demanded that the truth about various controversial issues, including the murder of Viveka, be disclosed.
