Perni Nani, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, announced his retirement from politics.

In the presence of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Perni Nani said he is retiring from politics. When stipped for his prolonged speech, Mr. Perni Nani said, “This is the last one… I don’t know if I will participate in a meeting with Jagan again. Now, I have to accept it.” In a separate occasion he said, “That’s why I am retiring.”
