The Andhra Pradesh Government on the 24th of August, updated the guidelines of the YSR Asara Scheme.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) clarified the new guidelines.
Recently, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) conducted a Cabinet meeting and approved the YSR Asara Scheme.
The scheme aim to empower women in the State and improve their financil stability.
Under the YSR Asara Scheme, women beneficiaries of the Development of Women and Children of Rural Area of ndhra Pradesh would get financial assistance without any restrictions on usage. The money given by the State Government to the women of the savings societies could not be debited by the banks to the personal debts of the society or the concerned women without the consent of the beneficiaries.
In addition, women would be able to use the money for any purpose without any restrictions.
Gopalakrishna Dwivedi, the Chief Secretary of the Rural Development Department, hasfinalized the regulations of the YSR scheme.
The loan amount would be given in four installments from this financial year under the Scheme.
The preliminary lists of women beneficiaries from YSR Aasara Scheme across the state would be kept in all village and ward secretariats on the 25th of August.
A social audit regarding the same would be conducted locally on the 28th of August.
The list of beneficiaries would be updates on the official website SERP and MEPMA on the 29th of August.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) also directed the SERP and MEPMA to organise a special desk for ones who are eligible for the scheme and not named in the list.
The YSR Aasara Scheme would be launched on the 11th of September.
Approximately 9,33,180 women groups which is equal to 90 lakh women would be benefited from the scheme in Andhra Pradesh.
