The Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh reported 385 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) on the 31st of October.
In the evening of Sunday, the 31st of October, the Andhra Pradesh Government, released a media bulletin to update about the Wuhan virus situation in the State.
According to the released media bulletin, the State reported 385 new cases, 4 deaths and 675 recoveries in the past 24 hours. The number of cases were confirmed after conducting 39,848 sample tests for the Novel Coronavirus infection, taking the cumulative total to 2,95,18,787.
Of the total 385 new cases, the highest number of new cases from East Godavari which reported 87 cases, followed by Chittoor (64,) Krishna (46,) West Godavari (40,) Nellore (34,) Guntur (33,) Visakhapatnam (27,) Srikakulam (19,) Kadapa (12,) Vizianagaram (7,) Kurnool (6,) Prakasam (6,) and Anantapur (4.)

East Godavari – 936
Chittoor – 844
Krishna – 788
Nellore – 416
Prakasam – 369
West Godavari – 280
Guntur – 202
Srikakulam -187
Visakhapatnam – 118
Kadapa – 75
Vizianagaram – 64
Anantapur – 51
Kurnool – 25
With the aforementioned data, Andhra Pradesh has 20,66,450 positive cases, of which 20,47,722 are recoveries, 14,373 are deceased cases and 4,355 are active cases.
In addition, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department administered a total of 5,33,54,732 vaccine doses against the Wuhan virus. More than 2 crore people received their COVID-19 doses in the State.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government is working to combat the single day cases of Wuhan virus and keep the pandemic situation under control.
The vaccination drive is also going with a speed in the State to administer vaccine doses to the majority of people.
