Eatala Rajender, the former Health Minister of Telangana and a former member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today, the 14th of June.
After submitting his resignation as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Huzurabad constituency, Eatala Rajender is now going to join the opposition in Delhi.
The decision to join the BJP was taken due to the ongoing political turmoil between the TRS and Eatala Rajender. The ongoing issue between the ruling TRS Government and former Minister Eatala Rajender started after he was expelled from the State Cabinet. On the 1st of May, the Telangana Health Minister Eatala Rajender was expelled from the Health Ministry portfolio and the Party. The decision was taken by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, over the recent land grabbing allegations against Eatala Rajender. After the removal of Eatala Rajender as the Telangana Health Minister, KCR and the Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar are tackling the Wuhan virus situation and the State Health Department.
In order to attend the joining ceremony of Eatala Rajender, the Telangana unit BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, left for Delhi on the 13th of June.
In addition, on the 14th of June, Monday, Etala Rajender along with BJP leaders D.K. Aruna, K. Laxman, Muralidhar Rao, G. Vivek and Soyam Babu Rao left for Delhi.
According to sources, Eatala Rajender would join the BJP in the presence of the National President of the BJP J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah
Besides Etala Rajender, former MLA and TRS leader Enugu Ravinder Reddy and other supporters of Eatala Rajender would also join the BJP.
