After reporting below 3,000 single day cases of the Wuhan virus, India, on the 3rd of June, registered more than 4,000 Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus cases.
On Friday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed that India reported 4,041 new cases and 10 fatalities, in the past 24 hours. With this, India currently has 4,31,68,585 positive cases, of which 4,26,22,757 recovered/discharged cases and 5,24,651 fatalities till date. Furthermore, the active cases in India stood at 21,177.
Notably, the active cases comprise of 0.05% and the national Wuhan virus recovery rate is 98.74% and the fatality rate is at 1.22%, till date.
It is to note that after reporting below 3,000 cases, the nation reported an increase of 1,668 cases in active cases, in the span of 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive have been over 193.83 crore.
