On the 2nd of December, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, decided to impose strict mask wearing rule.
In the wake of the rapid spread of Omicron, the new variant of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) the K. Chandrashekar Rao Government and the State Health Department alerted people.
Telangana Government regulations on mask and vaccine :
- Medical department directs police to impose fine of Rs 1,000 for not wearing mask *
- Masks must be worn in public places and offices
- Everyone should take vaccine doses to be vaccinated
- We are going to make strict regulations on the vaccine with the permission of the government
- Decision to verify vaccination document in hotels, parks and public places *
- No entry rule for vaccinated people anywhere soon.
The strict laws are said to be a major step to control the rising number of COVID-19 situations, especially when the Nation is fearing Omicron.
Classified as a “Variant of Concern,” Omicron found in South Africa, is spreading rapidly across the globe. Addressing a press conference, the WHO chief alerted all the countries, asking to take Omicron as an “Extremely Serious” concern.
